Different boots, different fits and sizes. I wear a size 11, and you know what they say about men with huge feet (?)-- huge boots! I have a combined passion and fashion for things. I have this torn boots for almost half a decade now, but I refuse to let it go. Not that I can't afford a new one, it's just that I feel like its tailored-fit to my feet. I am comfortable with it as it absorbs the pressure from hiking and weight of loads. Either it's a psychological perk or not, all I know is we all have that favorite pair of shoes.
While snooping for the precious one, I heard about Limmer & Sons with customized boots. I tried it out, and I have purchased a new pair, though I still keep the old one in my shoe rack. The good thing about custom-fit boots is that it is sensitive to the contour of your heel and sole. If you will notice, we have ten toes which all vary in shapes and sizes so no shoes is perfect for all.
Although it comes with a price, I bet you'd like to take the journey of trekking and hiking with a protective cover that saves your feet from stress and rough beating. Look at your feet, at least give it a precious gift. Something that will be sensitive to the skin and to its needs. Whenever I hike, my feet feels the sore and I always complain of blisters. But when I used my new boots, I still feel the stress but with less pressure from the weariness of actual hiking. If you love hiking, invest on your gears!

A hiking boots are the most essential aspect of your gears for hiking. The proper footwear will ensure safety and longer distance. Compared to the usual shoes, the boots will provide protection your feet from thorns and other objects that might cause injury to your feet while you are backpacking.
The proper boots are solid under the sole which means that when you wear it, you could not feel the stones or rocks. To test the boots, try to twist or press the sole. If it can be twisted and pressed, then the boots are not good for trailing activities because they are too soft. Further, the boots must also have side protections. They should have paddings for the protection of the sides of your feet. Next, the boots should also be capable of providing good support for your ankle. They must be hard enough to ensure that they could hold in place your ankles.
Your boots should also be waterproof, because when your feet get wet you might have blisters. Choosing the proper footwear is necessary for the protection your feet from any injury while you are on your exciting mountain journey.

One of the most important gears in hiking is your footwear. It’s quite obvious isn’t it? Hiking is an activity where you make full use of your lower appendages so you need to equip proper gears for your feet. Don’t think that just any footwear will do. Not all hiking trails have the same terrain. Some are rocky and mountainous while some have well-established paths. In some trails, you will have to immerse your feet in the water so your favorite sneakers wouldn’t last for a very long time. Before setting off on your exciting adventure, you must prepare the proper type of shoes.
If you’re going on a hiking trip on a trail that has a clear path, use trail shoes. Trails shoes are recommended if for not so rocky trails in a dry climate. If you’re planning to go on a lengthy hike, wear trail hikers. Trail hikers can endure steeper and muddy terrains. They are sturdier than trail shoes and are generally waterproof. They also add protection to your ankles from rocky paths. If you’re climbing a mountain, equip yourself with a mountaineering hiking boots. These boots provide the grip you will need as you climb up a mountain.

The activity of hiking involves a lot of treading on unstable, rocky and rough grounds. The lower portion of the boot is the first to make contact with these grounds that is why it is only logical to have boots that have sturdy soles.
The make of the soles allow a hiker to have more stability in terms of maintaining balance, and flexibility in movement. Sturdy soles also can be used against any trail conditions, whether the path is muddy, dirty or dusty. Soles should be as light as possible so that a person could easily avoid obstacles and accidents.
